A friend wanted a little 5x7 oil of their home for her husband for their anniversary. She took the photos and I took it from there. So cute and a great gift!

Well, add another "hat" to the many I already wear for my art business. A friend asked if I would be interested in designing a website for her building company. Since I had already successfully designed my own site, I told her I would give it a try. I think it came out great! Check it out at www.yellowhammerhome.com. I REALLY enjoyed the work as it combined many of my past experiences and talents: working in the computer industry (before children), building and remodeling 4 houses, and all my artistic color and design experience. Annual Christmas Jubilee

I went and set up today for the "Art Walk" section of Christmas Jubilee out at the Fairgrounds. This is a good opportunity to shop for some great local art and also support the Junior League in their charity fundraiser. Look for the art displays in the foyer of the market beyond the "hall of wreaths". The ladies were working very hard today setting everything up and it looks bigger and better than ever.

I have a selection of Rabbit Creek Studios - mixed media work on one side of the display and Southern Oil Portrait's - "Casual Artistic" portrait samples on the other. Check it out before or after shopping at the market.
